Stripes and color blocking done right. I will definitely be emulating this Céline inspired look for the Spring months ahead.

Happy 2013! Resolutions are of the past. This year I'm using the word goals. This idea was introduced to me by an incredibly inspiring instructor at my spin/cycle hybrid class, Lotus Kitty. I find that there is a stigma attached to the word resolution in that you never follow through with it, especially once February rolls around. Just like fad diets, resolutions are usually short lived. To see a real difference, you have to be willing and more importantly self-motivated to make a lifestyle change. Among my laundry list of personal goals, this year I have a few style goals as well. For instance, I vow to wear more pink. I realize that I have one silk charmeuse cami which borders on fuchsia, more than pink. I will somehow incorporate the color pink into my wardrobe. I also would like to be more minimalistic with my outfits. This includes buying 'simple, solid and classic with an edge' investment pieces.
Do you have any goals this year? I hope that whatever they are, you continue to achieve them with strong faith and courage in yourself.
xo,
Angela
p.s. How great are these rings from Balenciaga's Spring 2013 collection?

I know it's barely "Winter" in LA, but honestly I couldn't contain my excitement when I saw bits and pieces of H&M's Spring 2013 collection up in the blogosphere. The red patchwork jacket, oddly reminiscent of Marant Spring 2013, needs to be in my closet immediately.
Thank you Northern Light for posting this.
